Not long ago I bought and installed some storm windows. The reason I ordered them is that I had a few very old single pane windows and they were very inefficient. They allowed wind and dust particles inside our home and they simply weren’t getting the job done. I chose storm windows due to the fact I desired an inexpensive alternative that I could mount myself. What a fantastic decision, they look wonderful, they were a very good price for custom storm windows and the house is much more effective now. I am so pleased about my purchase. If you have a comparable situation with older single pane windows like me, get a storm window.
